  Excellent people. Spirit-lead service. Not always a professional feel. But, the lack of judgment & acceptance is truly welcome and something needed at all churches. They are a close family. And it's a true blessing to be there. I'm thankful to have found them. There is growth that is slowly shaping them as well.

  This was my first church family. I'm God spoke to me, and for the first time I heard him. We were baptised here and we're married here. This is family and a founding relationship with Christ.

  When I first got saved in 1987 I was invited to OVAG by a friend of mine in High School. I felt at home there right away there the first night! These were real people and the Pastor there had a heart of gold. Those days were some of the best and worst times in my life! Many trials and many blessings. I now live in South Dakota which I can't say moving here was god's will for me or not. I have never felt at home at any church up here like I did at OVAG. Ill be coming to Norfolk in the month of May 2017 to visit. Ill be looking forward to it!

  This church was such an inspiration to myself and my daughter years ago during the Persian Gulf War ...my husband was away a lot and we were only in Norfolk for the Summer. Every Sunday we walked to this church down a sidewalk paraded of flowering trees. The beautiful spirit in this church amazed me. I never forgot all that I learned and even through the children's ministry I was blessed!
